Flight Update uses real data from airline schedule to enter info. Usual airline comes up or is easily changed, then put in flight number. Choose relevant cities from list and done. Real time use is great, check your connection gate before you even get off the plane for next flight.

Wtih 14yrs in the airline industry Ive tried most of the flight tracking apps out there, and this one consistently proves itself to be the best. I especially like how the flights are separated into "trips" and as you open a trip its only the flights within that trip that get updated. Saves bandwidth, saves time. Calendar mirroring is another excellent feature - enter the flights once in this app, choose which calendar to sync with, and they all appear in it. The developer is super responsive. Any time Ive had a question hes always been ready and willing to help, although the app is so well written Ive not had to ask much! I had an interesting issue with synchronization between my iPhone and iPad. Because I was running different OSs on each the iCloud backups werent talking to each other. This was an Apple thing - iOS8 upgraded iCloud Drive and my iPhone was still on iOS7. However the app also syncs with TripIt (you dont need the pro version to do this) so now my two devices stay in sync perfectly. This app comes highly recommended.

I fly weekly and plan trips as well in spontaneous mode! The app shows me all the information I need. Sometimes it shows no flights when I know there are some. Sometimes when I swipe to delete an app, the app closes/crashes. Overall, my most used travel app!!

I have the pro version and that is definitely with the extra if you use TripIt. I had a problem where my app data file was corrupted somehow and caused the app to crash when selecting certain flights. Scott (app author) was great in tracking down the problem and providing me a fix that stop the app from crashing. So nice to have very responsive support for the app. I own several other flight tracking applications but this is my goto app when I travel.

This app is perfect for my use, I travel on multiple airline and am not only able to keep track of all my flights in one place, I am also able to keep track of employee, customer, clients and family flights too! Keeping me updated on delays and arrival times..... Perfect!

Ive been doing much flying lately and decided to try an app similar to what this does. Did some research and this was highly recommended. It really is great and very good interface along with the necessary information included.

Does everything you want in a flight status app. Had since 2009 and love it!

THIS APP IS EXCELLENT!! However, it provides very little information for Delta flights. It only gives me the terminal numbers and/or names, but no gate numbers. Please fix! Other than that, SPOT ON!

The flight update app is now not working is rendered totally useless. The instaflight freezes after putting in the airline and flight number. It use to be a fine app but no longer.

Ive had this app a long time, at least 5 years, maybe 7. It is still my go to app when I travel. Im sure there are other apps out there with more bells and whistles, but this one always works flawlessly and tells me what I need to know: which gate to get to, and if my flights are on time.

App freezes when number keypad is displayed to enter flight info.

For years I happily used this app to track my 3-4 trips each month that included flying. I had rated it very good. Over the last few months zero flights on SW and zero on Delta can be found. On at least 6-7 occasions when I enter a flight a message pops up saying "flight not available". Useless app at this point.
